📋 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Rozana - Daily Wage Worker Management App (“the App”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

What Rozana Does:

Rozana is an offline Android application designed to help contractors and business owners:

  • ✅ Manage daily wage workers
  • ✅ Track attendance records
  • ✅ Record payments
  • ✅ Generate reports
  • ✅ Create backups of data

What Rozana is NOT:

  • ❌ Not a cloud service
  • ❌ Not a payroll processing service
  • ❌ Not a legal or accounting service
  • ❌ Not a worker hiring platform
  • ❌ Not a government-approved record-keeping system

✅ License Grant

Personal Use License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Rozana for personal or business purposes.

You MAY:

  • ✅ Install the app on your personal devices
  • ✅ Use it to manage your workers
  • ✅ Create and share backups
  • ✅ Use for commercial purposes (managing your business)

You MAY NOT:

  • ❌ Reverse engineer or decompile the app
  • ❌ Remove copyright notices or branding
  • ❌ Redistribute or resell the app
  • ❌ Create derivative works
  • ❌ Use for illegal purposes
  • ❌ Claim ownership of the app

📊 User Responsibilities

Your Obligations:

  1. Accurate Data Entry
    • You are responsible for the accuracy of all data you enter
    • Ensure worker information, wages, and payments are correct
  2. Legal Compliance
    • Comply with local labor laws in your jurisdiction
    • Maintain proper employment records as required by law
    • Pay workers fairly and on time
  3. Data Backup
    • Regularly backup your data
    • Store backups securely
    • We are not responsible for data loss
  4. Device Security
    • Protect your device with a lock screen
    • Keep your Android OS updated
    • Don’t share your device with unauthorized persons
  5. Worker Privacy
    • Respect the privacy of workers whose data you store
    • Don’t share worker information without consent
    • Comply with data protection laws in your region

⚠️ Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS”

Rozana is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without any warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

  • ❌ No warranty of merchantability
  • ❌ No warranty of fitness for a particular purpose
  • ❌ No warranty of accuracy or reliability
  • ❌ No warranty of uninterrupted service
  • ❌ No warranty of error-free operation

We do NOT guarantee:

  • That the app will meet your specific requirements
  • That calculations will always be 100% accurate
  • That the app will work on all devices
  • That data will never be lost
  • That there will be no bugs or errors

🛡️ Limitation of Liability

Maximum Liability = Zero

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

Muhammad Wali Afghan and Rozana SHALL NOT BE LIABLE for:

  1. Direct Damages:
    • Data loss or corruption
    • Business losses
    • Lost profits or revenue
    • Calculation errors
  2. Indirect Damages:
    • Consequential damages
    • Incidental damages
    • Special damages
    • Punitive damages
  3. Use-Related Issues:
    • Disputes with workers
    • Legal issues arising from app use
    • Tax or accounting problems
    • Compliance violations

YOUR SOLE REMEDY is to stop using the app.

💾 Data Ownership & Backup

Your Data is YOURS

  • ✅ You own all data you enter into Rozana
  • ✅ We have no access to your data
  • ✅ You can export or delete your data anytime

Backup Responsibility

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Creating regular backups
  • Storing backups safely
  • Testing backup restoration
  • Keeping backups in multiple locations

WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR:

  • Data loss due to device failure
  • Corruption of backup files
  • Inability to restore backups
  • Loss of data during app updates

🔒 Privacy & Data Protection

Offline-Only Application

  • 📱 All data stored locally on your device
  • 🚫 No data transmitted to servers
  • 🔒 No cloud storage or sync
  • 🙈 We cannot access your data

App Updates

We may release updates that:

    • ❌ Creating modified versions
    • ❌ Extracting source code

🌍 Jurisdiction & Governing Law

Applicable Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Afghanistan (or your local jurisdiction).

Dispute Resolution

🔚 Termination

You Can Stop Using Anytime

You may terminate your use of Rozana at any time by:

  • Uninstalling the app
  • Deleting all data
  • Destroying all backups

We Can Terminate Access

We reserve the right to:

  • Discontinue the app at any time
  • Stop providing updates
  • Remove the app from distribution

Upon termination:

  • Your license to use the app ends
  • These Terms remain in effect for past use
  • Disclaimer and liability clauses survive
